HELP Autism in Nevada Inc., is a non-profit organization dedicated to help raise awareness, educate, offer support, provide information, and answers to help improve the lives of individuals on the Autism Spectrum.

Our organization was founded by parents and professionals who were directly impacted by someone with Autism. The foundation is operated and supported by the efforts of families with children on the Autism Spectrum and is a supportive network of families, friends, and professionals.

Valerie is President and Co-Founder of HELP Autism In Nevada Inc. She has resided in the Las Vegas area for over 7 years with her four daughters and son. Her four year old daughter was diagnosed with ADHD and Her three year old daughter was diagnosed with Autism. Valerie currently serves as the Advocate Chair for the Autism Speaks' Las Vegas Community Leadership Committee. She also actively participates on the Sub-Committees for Best Practices, and Education, for the Nevada Autism Task Force. Her professional background includes training in advocacy and mediation through WRIGHTSLAW. She is currently enrolled in the University of Phoenix for her Bachelor in Human Services/Management and then furthering her education into Law School.
Bobbie is the Treasurer of HELP Autism In Nevada Inc. She is mother of two boys a five year old with Asperger's Syndrome and a three year old with Autism. She has lived in Las Vegas for nearly 20 years and has been married 15 years. She graduated from UNLV in 1994 with Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies and earned MBA in 2008 from University of Phoenix.
Berna is the Secretary of HELP Autism In Nevada. She is a bilingual Occupational Therapist who graduated with a degree in Occupational Therapy in 2003 from FIU Florida International University. Her practice focus has been in pediatrics, though she has also worked with adult populations. Prior to becoming an O.T. Berna worked as a tutor for children with autism which gave her a unique perspective and skill to working with her pediatric clients.
